How it works
A roof is not a purchase; it is several weeks of work over your head. That is why we want you to know in advance what will happen when, who is responsible for it, and what we will need from you.
1. Request for quotation
Form or telephone call. Just provide the municipality, house type and what is troubling you. We will get back to you within 24 hours on working days to arrange an inspection.
2. Free inspection
The technician will inspect the attic (condition of rafters, wall plates, insulation, signs of leakage) and the roof (covering, sheet metalwork, penetrations, gutters). He will take measurements and photos and immediately advise whether repair, replacement of the covering or reconstruction is required.
3. Quote and roof build-up
Within a few days you will receive an itemised estimate, a proposed layering scheme, two roofing material options and a schedule. The offer is final for the scope we have inspected; hidden defects discovered during dismantling are addressed in writing and agreed in advance, never as additional charges on the invoice.
4. Permits, materials, preparation
We will verify the procedure under the Building Act (no authority involvement, notification or permit required) and prepare the necessary documentation. We will order the roofing material and timber, arrange scaffolding, a skip and, if needed, a crane. For Eternit roofs, we will notify the hygiene station of the dismantling.
5. Implementation
Dismantling, roof truss, underlayment, battens, roofing material, sheet metalwork, gutters, snow guards. The roof is opened in sections and covered every evening. The site supervisor is on-site daily and is the single point of contact for all calls.
6. Handover
Joint inspection of details (valleys, penetrations, edging), site cleanup, material documentation, warranty terms and photographic record. We recommend inspecting the roof after the first winter.
What to prepare
- Photos of the roof and attic, if available.
- Project or old drawing; for new builds, roof project documentation.
- Information on whether the house is located in a heritage zone.
- Access to the property for scaffolding and containers.

Questions we are asked
Who guarantees the roof?
One contract, one company. We handle carpentry, roofing and sheet metal work ourselves; we provide a contractual warranty on the workmanship and hand over the manufacturers' warranty certificates for the materials.
Do I need to be home during the construction work?
No. We require access to the attic for the inspection and handover. During the work, telephone contact is sufficient.
Is payment required in advance?
Deposit for materials as per contract, balance upon handover. Never the full amount in advance.
